How much does the service cost?
The service is custom tailored to help you save money on your current credit card services rates. If you are not currently using credit card services, we will work with you to create a custom package that’s right for your business. One size doesn’t fit all, so give us a call and we will try to find a package that will work for you.

What will I need to apply?
You will need the following information about your business:
- Business information (name and address)
- Owners/officers of the business information (name and address, title)
- Bank account information (voided cheque)
- Estimates of the amount of credit card sales you expect
- Statements from previous merchant accounts (if available)
- Recent income statements or other financial information (if available)

How long does it take to approve the application?
After you submit the application, it will immediately be sent to our credit underwriting department. If you provide enough supporting information in your application package, your application may be approved within three to five business days. Our representatives will help you to determine what supporting information you will need. The credit underwriting department may need additional information from you to make a decision and this may delay the process an additional couple of days. The entire process should be completed within five business days.

How are customer disputes handled?
Often referred to as a chargeback, a customer can dispute a credit card charge for a variety of reasons. Visa, MasterCard and American Express can then chargeback the transaction amount to the merchant. Under the Merchant Agreements with Visa/MasterCard/Amex they do not guarantee non-face to face credit card transactions even though the original transaction was approved. A transaction can only be guaranteed if the merchant saw the card and has a signature from a receipt. We will work with the merchant to resolve these disputes wherever possible.

What is Virtual Terminal and how does it work?
Virtual Terminal is a feature of all our Merchant Services which allows you to process credit card transactions from a secure web site that is provided through the service. We will send you a link to a secure website and whenever you need to process a credit card transaction you will visit the website and manually input the details of the transaction to initiate the processing.

Will I need to purchase any additional equipment or a terminal?
No. Upon approval, we will give you all you need to process credit cards. We don’t currently offer a physical terminal. All processing is done via a virtual terminal.

What will be the name of the merchant on my customer’s credit card statement?
It will be the DBA (doing business as) name you established when setting up your merchant account.
