Thanks to everyone who signed up for KnownLocally! We've had a great response to the product and we hope you are maximizing the benefits of your KnownLocally website and local marketing submissions.

Tips and tricks to getting the most out of your KnownLocally Profile:

1) When we submit your KnownLocally website domain to Google Local, Google sends out a postcard to the business owner with a confirmation code. Make sure that you send us your Google confirmation code. Without that code, we can't activate your Google Local Listing.

2) Your KnownLocally Profile and domain name is your 24 hour business advertisement - it has information about your products and services, your location, hours and anything else you want people to know. Optimize it! Put your domain name on your business cards, email signatures - any place where you want people to be able to find you and learn more about you.

3) KnownLocally is about your business - provide as much information about what you do, the services you provide and any promotional activity - just because you know what you do, doesn't mean the rest of the world knows what you do. Be specific, if you are a plumber - tell the world what it is you do - welding, gas fittings, inspections etc. the more you say, the more people will know you meet their needs! PLUS - it only helps your local business rankings and driving traffic to your site! The more keywords you enter, the bigger your "net" of being found.

4) Update your site content frequently - your KnownLocally profile is a website. The more fresh your content, the higher the probability that you will show up higher in the local directories when people do searches. What can you update? Update your business information or any promotions you might be having - it all helps!

5) Updating your KnownLocally site is easy and quick. You don't need to be a developer, designer or technically inclined. Just log in to your SageSpark Account, click on the MySage tab, then click on the Profile section and begin updating! Its that SIMPLE and EASY! KnownLocally was built with the small business owner in mind - people who have all of 5 minutes to spend on their website and don't want to spend thousands of dollars on building a website or marketing it. And when I go to my site and click on "view recent blog entries" I get a screen with the following:

My payment was just processed and I am not sure whether my website has or is being set up...when will I know. If I need to set it up myself, how do I proceed?
