New Invoicing layout options

I like the features of billingboss - ability to send quotes, accept paypal, etc. However, the invoice templates are terrible and don't look professional! I need my invoices to match my other brand materials so I need the ability to have a plain invoice or an invoice I can customize to the look I want. In the current invoices, the fonts are too big and dark and when you insert your logo it is HUGE. Because of this problem I have had to look elsewhere for invoicing options so that I can maintain a professional look.

This is a crucial feature, I agree. Almost a deal breaker...

Maybe instead, to keep the production cost down and still attract a large audience, is to allow  designers to edit/create css/html with billingboss markup for data areas (make an "advanced" area). Just openning up the code a little bit would go a long ways.

The time and effort that has been put into billingboss so far is impressive. Keep up the good work.

Hi all,

Fixing the invoice style is on the top of our todo list.  Allowing users to use their own css is an option but we first need to clean up our css styles and class names first.

Do you mind sending an example of your ideal invoice design to me (info@billingboss.com) ?

Richard,

Glad to hear it is in the works. I just sent some templates to that email address, but not sure if they went through because I got "Your message was not delivered" response.

Hi,

I am glad to report that we have addressed some of the issues raised here. Two more invoice templates were added based on Larissa's samples.

We reduced the font size on most templates and cleaned up some styling issue.

More work are planned but please keep the feedback coming.

Thanks.
