Colors don't show in PDF

I've just tried my first invoice in Billing Boss. It's simple enough to use, but the PDFs show none of the color indicated in the templates except for what appears in my logo and the company name. That gives the overall effect a Plain Jane appearance, with nothing distinctive to make it stand out.

 

Also, I believe there should be at least a few options to control font choice, etc.
